Access to ELIXIR Luxembourg services is secured via the LCSB SSO, which supports federated login. This means users can sign in using their existing institutional credentials or trusted third-party identity providers. The portal streamlines access to data and services, ensuring secure and compliant authentication across the ELIXIR Luxembourg ecosystem.

First-Time Login

Whether you're submitting data or requesting access to a dataset, you'll be automatically redirected to the LCSB SSO when accessing ELIXIR Luxembourg services. No prior setup is required—just follow the login prompts.

Choosing the Right Account or Identity Provider

To ensure seamless access and avoid permission issues, please follow these guidelines when selecting your login method:

  • Preferred Option: Use your institutional account whenever available. Many ELIXIR Luxembourg services require institutional affiliation for access. If your institution is not listed, choose LifeScience Login (LSL).
  • If LSL is unavailable for your organization: Use your ORCID account as a fallback option.

Selecting the wrong identity provider may result in the creation of a separate user account with different access permissions. This can restrict your ability to use certain services or access previously granted resources.
